As a family caregiver, how are you coping with stress and staying healthy during the COVID-19 Crisis?

Don't forget about your own needs as a caregiver!

Caring for an aging family member or friend can be very difficult and overwhelming at times, especially now with the added restrictions of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Our Elder Community Care Triage Coordinator, Edmilse Diaz, has developed straight forward tips for older adults and their caregivers that provide ways to maintain your mental and physical wellbeing during this difficult time. She also offers proven techniques to help relieve stress and anxiety.

  • Feel exhausted or overwhelmed most of the time
  • Have no support system providing assistance or relief from caregiving
  • Feel like you should be able to handle this on your own
  • Are drinking alcohol more often than usual
