Sudbury Council on Aging hosting Support and Educational Winter Grief Series beginning in January
By Douglas Flynn / December 30, 2015

The days of winter can be very long, especially if you have suffered the loss of a loved one through death.

The Sudbury Council on Aging invites those who have suffered the loss of a loved one to join a support and educational group. The Support and Education Winter Grief Series is a six-week group beginning on January 20, 2016, with the first session being held at 1-2:30 p.m. at the Sudbury Senior Center (40 Fairbanks Road, Sudbury, MA 01776).

Topics discussed will include the symptoms of grief and common feelings; normal versus abnormal grief; coping techniques for handling the roller coaster of emotions; and the spiritual dimension of the grief process.
