Natick Community-Senior Center hosting free informational sessions on best options for aging in place
By Douglas Flynn / April 1, 2016

The Natick Community-Senior Center will be hosting a pair of free educational programs this spring entitled, "Do I Stay or Do I Go?: Informative Sessions to Help You Determine Your Best Options for Aging in Place."

The first session is "Getting your Legal House in Order" and will be held on April 27.  Elder law attorney Julie McQuade Ladimer will discuss long term care planning and how it will help you to protect your home and avoid probate, as well as basic legal documents such as wills, health care proxies, and power of attorney.

On May 18, "Finding the Right Housing Options" will feature Mary Kay Browne, Director of Special Projects, MCOA, who will discuss housing options and present resources to help participants and their families in making the difficult decisions regarding housing needs as we age.

Each program will be held from 5:30–7 p.m. Family members of participants are encouraged to attend. A light dinner will be included.

Please call the Natick Community-Senior Center at 508-647-6540 to register in advance. The Natick Community-Senior Center is located at 117 East Central Street in Natick.
