Hudson's Daybreak caregiver respite program now being offered in Marlborough, Northborough
By Douglas Flynn / March 9, 2018
For the last several years, the Hudson Senior Center has been offering DayBreak, a social day program providing respite for caregivers every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

DayBreak provides individuals with a safe and stimulating experience with fun activities and social interaction while providing caregivers with much needed time for themselves.

Now, funded in part by a grant from the MetroWest Health Foundation, the program will be offered in Northborough and Marlborough as well.

The Northborough Senior Center (119 Bearfoot Road, Northborough, MA) will host its Daybreak session every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while the Marlborough Senior Center (40 New Street, Marlborough, MA) will host its session every wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Hudson Senior Center (29 Church Street, Hudson, MA) will continue its sessions every Thursday as well.

Daybreak provides a structured, quality time for your loved ones. Professional staff provide a healthy lunch and engaging activities for those who require some supervision. Participants can attend any combination of sessions at all three locations.

There is a suggested voluntary donation of $15 for each session, which includes lunch and activity and is put directly into the program allowing for the expansion of services. Whether or not you make a voluntary donation in no way informs or influences this service delivery.

To find out more about the DayBreak program, contact Lisa Bazarian Gardner at 978-568-9638 or lbbazarian@gmail.com.
