Golden Pond offering free informational events later this month
By Douglas Flynn / January 2, 2015

The new year presents some new opportunities for area caregivers to learn about a number of different issues that can affect their caregiving roles. Golden Pond Assisted Living in Hopkinton will be hosting a trio of events later this month. All are free to attend and offer information and insight into some important and timely topics.

First up is a "Virtual Dementia Tour: Transforming Your Sympathy to Empathy." That will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

On Tuesday, Jan. 20, Golden Pond will host the "Financial Fitness for Women Seminar: Strategies to Make Your Money Work." That will be presented by Janice Bogasky, CFP and runs from 6-7 p.m.

Finally, on Wednesday, Jan. 21 Golden Pond will host the "Sell Mom's House Seminar" with Berkshire Hathaway Partners. That will run from 3-4:30 p.m.

To RSVP for any of these events, call 508-435-1250.

Golden Pond Assisted Living is located at 50 West Main Street in Hopkinton. Open house tours of the residence are also being offered on Monday, Jan. 5 from 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 17 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
