What is the Adult Family Care program?

The Adult Family Care Program at BayPath provides eligible MassHealth members the opportunity to be cared for in their home or in the home of the caregiver that they select.

The caregiver is responsible for helping with personal care and home management tasks. In exchange, the designated caregiver is paid a daily stipend, payable monthly.

If you are providing [non-professional] care for someone who is 16 or older, who has a chronic or permanent disability requiring assistance for one or more Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), you may be eligible.

As a qualifying caregiver you must be at least 18 years of age and willing to reside in the same residence as your care recipient. You can be a relative but cannot be the spouse or legal guardian. To learn more, click here >>

CareGiving MetroWest

Winner of the n4a Aging Innovations Award.

The Family Caregiver Support Program is funded by the Massachusetts Office of Elder Affairs and Title III of the Older Americans Act. Because federal funding is being used, we provide participants with an opportunity to make a voluntary donation toward the cost of this service. Voluntary donations are put directly into program enhancement, allowing for the expansion of services. Whether or not a participant makes a voluntary donation in no way informs or influences this service delivery.
