Educational forum on fitness for mind and body for people with dementia on Nov. 7 in Framingham

The Callahan Senior Center will be hosting an educational forum for caregivers, families and professionals entitled, "Ageless Grace: Timeless Fitness for Mind and Body for People with Dementia."

The forum, which will feature meaningful activities to enjoy with your loved one, will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Callahan Center (535 Union Ave, Framingham, MA). check-in is at 9:30 a.m., with the program running from 10-11:30 a.m.

Ageless Grace is a brain fitness program, developed by Denise Medved, based on neuroplasticity and consists of 21 simple exercises designed for all ages and abilities. The exercises are based on everyday movements and focus on the healthy longevity of the body and mind.

Learn activities you can do together that will help you both feel better physically and emotionally. You will laugh and smile during these fun exercises designed for any ability level.

The forum is presented by Melissa Plourde, CDP Private Pay manager, Care Solutions, Inc., and Brooke Erickson-Mignogna, Vice President of Strategic Development and Marketing, Care Solutions, Inc. It is co-sponsored by The MetroWest Alzheimer's Partnership and The Alzheimer's Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter.
