CareGivingMetroWest.org is made possible through generous funding support from the MetroWest Health Foundation and is a program of BayPath Elder Services, Inc.
CareGivingMetroWest.org is a website devoted to caregivers of elders in 25 MetroWest communities. The website provides information, connection to resources and community support. This is achieved in part by several customized interactive website features, specifically designed for MetroWest caregivers and their elder care recipients.
Those website features include a customized assessment tool designed to quickly direct MetroWest caregivers to information and resources tailored to their specific caregiving needs and situation.
There is also a clickable MetroWest map that produces a printable, town-specific list of resources for each of the 25 MetroWest towns.
And the Caregiving Chronicles blog provides news and analysis on caregiving topics in the MetroWest region and beyond, information on community events and extensive Q&As with experts in fields related to caregiving.
The website site also includes information on what to expect throughout the caregiving experience, government programs, local resources, specific diseases and health conditions, home and safety equipment, legal and financial issues and other topics and resources. Information is presented in the form of listings of resources, links and in-depth original articles.
The website specifically serves the following communities in MetroWest Boston:
Ashland, Bellingham, Dover, Framingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Hudson, Marlborough, Medfield, Medway, Mendon, Milford, Millis, Natick, Needham, Norfolk, Northborough, Sherborn, Southborough, Sudbury, Wayland, Wellesley, Westborough
